Finding a Qualified Home Inspector
As the homebuyer, it is your responsibility to carefully select a qualified inspector and pay for the inspection.
It is incumbent upon you to make sure you are using a qualified Home Inspector. The quality of the information collected is as important as the amount of detailed information. Only a trained professional will do justice by you and your potential home purchase.
Although state requirements vary greatly, there are prominent trade organizations that may help insure higher qualifications and/or training of members, this should be taken into account when hiring a Home Inspector.
